Nick Saban - a great College that can bring Alabama toward greatness Football coach

Nick Saban recently became the University of Alabama football coach by signing the richer than ever contract awarded to a college football coach.

His 8-year, with the Crimson Tide $ 32 million contract has a base salary of $225,000 which will be supplemented by a fee of $3,275 personal services 3,975 million dollars per year. College supporters are flooded with money to the winners, who believe that you can place your computer at the top.

Saban treatment does not include a purchase clause if leaving, but cover public appearances in 15 year (for students, and booster clubs) that are not related terms.

The contract also have incentives that could generate another $650,000 for success in the field and academic with his players. One biggie is $200,000 if he arrives to the BCS Championship game and intensifies to $400,000 if WINS Alabama.

Saban also gets a number field, two cars, a box of luxury at Bryant-Denny Stadium Club and up to 25 hours of annual flight for travel in a non-commercial drawing staff members.

Ah, it is good that today Nick Saban in Alabama.Ahora should win and win big, something that has been able to make another college coaching positions.

Single year as coach in Toledo took the 6-5-9-2 Rockets and co-championship of the Mid-American Conference.

Saban, then went to the State of Michigan and in five seasons converted the Spartans of late season mediocre, continuous failure season 9-2, which included victories over Paris, Michigan, Ohio and Penn State, before the resigned in 1999.

A season before, MSU then hit No. 1 had ranked Ohio State 28-24 at Ohio Stadium and routed highly ranked Notre Dame before folding later in the season.

If Big 10 was not sufficiently hard, next stop to Saban was another five seasons with Southeastern Conference even tougher, LSU Tigers antics.

Had achieved a mark of 10-3 and a sophomore SEC Championship and topped things with a record 13-1 in its fourth season (2003) which won the Tigers a second SEC with Saban, as well as the title of the BCS National Championship of a 21-14 on the Oklahoma Sooners win.

After two average years trying to get the Miami Dolphins NFL gait, ceased to become new hope Alabama.Saban was able to build a defense with the Dolphins, but never got the offense goes, experiencing their first record as head coach.

Saban family has connections football. his cousin Lou Saban was an All-Big Ten at Indiana University on two occasions and was later the Buffalo Bills NFL, Denver Broncos head coach and the New England Patriots.

Saban played as a defensive back Don James when he coached at the State University of Kent.James also trained great NFL Jack Lambert and led Golden Flashes (may be true) to their unique Mid-American Conference title in 1972.

Saban, James was the winner.James was the coach of 18 seasons at the University of Washington.Él twice was named coach of the year (1984-1991) of the National University, guided by Washington for the Championship in 1991, took the Huskies 6 Rose Bowls (4 winner), won the Orange Bowl in 1985, had a record of 10-5 bowl game and won 22 straight between 1990 and 1992 games.

James was inducted into the Hall of Fame college in 1997;Saban will probably be inducted in the Hall of Fame sometime in the future.

Here is what he said about James Saban: "Don James was my college at Kent State coach.""I suppose that had as much of an impact on me as no one in terms of organization, quality of work, (and) being the best that puede.Es person I got (at) as head coach".

Saban was an Assistant of postgraduate and defensive, then Assistant to the Kent State University football team.

I have distant connections to Saban and James.

I graduated from Michigan State in 1966 and saw two large football years of graduation.I remember the 1966 "Party of the century" among then no. 2 ranked the State of Michigan and no. 1 ranked Notre Dame that ended in a draw 10-10 when North Dame decided to settle for a draw, instead of going for victory.

There were 5 Americans throughout 1966 MSU team: fullback Bob Apisa, halfback Clinton Jones, defensive end Charles "Bubba" Smith, wide receiver Gene Washington and rover (linebacker) George Webster.

I remember a game in 1965 when Jim Grabowski Illinois and George Webster ran full of all-American running back one steam towards the other and flattened Webster Grabowski.Fue one of the greatest tackles never went testigo.Grobowski came out of the work for the NFL Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears.

MSU football then turned to crap until you Nick Saban arrived and returned to the Spartans to the prominencia.Fue a long drought which lasted from 1967 to 1999.

I moved to Washington State in 1973 and continued the Huskies at the University of Washington - and Don James closer I did Michigan State during those years. here in Washington Don James is affectionately known as the "Dawgfather" and treated with great respect was Don Corleone in the Godfather movie.

You won't find a better coach College football or person that Don James always tries honesty, integrity and doing the right thing.

My expectation is that Nick Saban will bring Alabama football to the place that you corresponde. He been a fan of Crimson Tide from day one "Joe Willie" Namath walked on the campus of Alabama.

I am also fired for the football season to start as State of Michigan has a new head coach, a boy named Mark Dantonio is serious defense and instill discipline and MSU needs attitudinal type winners.

Days of country club atmosphere run on State Michigan.jugadores get it or get desaparecidos. No will accept Dantonio losing and none will be Saban.Mira sec, here comes Nick Saban.
